ian , just to clarify , in 2yr old races is it just the nurserys count towards a bet or do you include novice auction races

Thanks, Ian. Yes, I use your pop up boxes every day to note the ‘Highest Ever Speed Rating’ for each horse.

There are two good examples today where the bottom rated horses on Master Ratings Column, actually won. Wordismybond (16:20 Brighton) and Fort Jefferson (16:50 Brighton).

When you rank both their ‘Highest Ever Speed Rating’ figures against all the runners past 12 month Master Ratings, both were in the top 2.

I understand that you must get so many requests to add to the main card tables, and I am a great believer in keeping things simple! There is no other information I would want to see in your current cards apart from ‘Highest Ever Speed Rating’.

Wahaab was beauty today10/1 highest avg red l.t.o. in Dr% 10 also 56% run style had a lot going for it have to check this in future races

Hi Dominic, there are lots of ideas and suggestions for extra columns but I always want to try and keep it as simple as possible and I don't see me adding extra columns, but you never know. Most data on the cards is for the past 12 months which is a reasonable time span for looking at form. If you want more info it is available on the form guides. I also presume you know that the Highest Ever Speed Rating for each horse is actually shown on the pop up over the horse name.

What would be super useful, is if Ian could include a column in each card table, that showed ‘Highest Ever Speed Rating’ for each horse. I manually do this in excel for every 3YO+ Handicap…but it takes me ages – well worth it though!

starting from today (10th) will monitor these on the spread indice buying the qualifiers to a £1 stake , will update results frequently, could be interesting

Just been given this idea the once over and it seems very good for getting horses placed which is not a bad thing for large ew multiple bets I found if there is no selection using the method if you take the highest in the Avg column with any red in the L.T.O. column you get more placed horses you don’t have to put a lot of money on I use the union jack bet ew with a 9 timer ew at 10p ew =£1.80 best return to-date was £740 and none of them won
