System Builder Results Breakdown
The Inform Racing system builder has changed the way that many users are now able to find and test their own betting system ideas but now we have improved things further by adding a list of result breakdowns for many form categories.
It is now even easier to test a system and look and a number of form and speed ratings criteria to see how certain aspects of the form have performed and see very easily how you can ignore certain ranges or parameters to greatly improve your ideas.

Before I made the video above I did a quick screenshot video with no audio. I am leaving this here so you can view this also but be warned it is not a brilliant video
I will be making some proper videos for the new system builder features very soon but I have just made this short video below to quickly show you how it all now works.
As I say, there is no sound to the video or any narration but what you will see is the following.
1. When you play the video you will see a system that I have already loaded into the Inform Racing system builder
It is called Chase Top Master and it has 4 simple rules and looks for results from 2018 onwards. You will also see that the strike rate for this system is 15.34% and the profit is decent 273.07 pts to BSP after 5% commission.
2. Then I am scrolling down the page looking at all of the new categories that have been broken down for each one. What I am looking for is an obvious range of form criteria that is both lower than around the overall 15% strike rate and is showing a minus figure in red for the P/L to BSP.
3. There are three that I highlight and these are:
3a. Horse Age - not great for 4 and 5 year olds, horses that are quite inexperiemced for Chasing which is what this system focusses on.
3b. Betting Forecast Decimal - not great over 15 (14/1).
3c. M+A rating rank - this is a speed ratings category on our race cards and it looks like anything ranked over 4th is not great.
4. I then go back to the top and add these new filters to the system and run it again. This takes 28 seconds or so and then you can see that the strike rate has increased slightly but the profit has increased by around 100 pts.
The video is just over 5 minutes long and starts to play as soon as it is open. There are a few short pauses at times but just stick with it if you can. It will be worth it I think.
It won't win any awards but it does show you clearly how you can now find a basic set of system rules, check out the Result Breakdowns and filter out those form criteria that are impeaching on your profits.

With the Inform Racing system builder you can use either normal form criteria and/or speed ratings criteria, it is totally up to you.
