Tying these two in together sounds like it shouldn't be that hard to actually make money from your betting systems but I think that there are two important factors that often get in the way.

I have read before somewhere that a high percentage of people who win millions on the lottery jackpots, often revert to the life they had before, or even worse in some cases, because they don't believe they are millionaires, or feel guilty about having all of that money.

It is possible that you have been betting for a number of years and now almost expect to lose. Either through being undisciplined or just not having a set way to find your selections, you keep adding money to your betting account, knowing that you will be topping it up again soon
If you are going to win and make money from your betting, you have to believe that you can make money from your betting. You have to see your bank increasing over time and you have to be disciplined to follow your strategy and systems to the letter.

Remember you now believe that you are going to win money from your betting because you are going to be discilplined and act responsibly regarding your betting, however that could all go out the window if you don't know what stakes you should be using from the start.
